Opened in May 1999 and with the completion of additional rooms in 2006, the Hotel Residencial Sun Algarve now has 40 guest rooms. It is in the centre of Faro, a two-minute walk from the Railway Station, a five-minute walk from the principal bus terminal from which buses to all other parts of Portugal depart, and 7km from the Internation Faro Airport.
